Important points to know Before making your Jeep Safari Booking in Pench:
  • Forest Department of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra is responsible to manage the entire procedure. Tourists must book their safari ride of Pench National Park well in advance, in order to avoid the hustle and bustle of the last minute.
  • Tourists can easily make their booking well in advance. Online safari booking can be easily done 120 days prior to the actual date of safari ride. It is must for the tourists to fulfil the complete details of gender, age, name and the entire details of ID proof. The same Id proof must be carried by the tourists at the time of the safari ride which is mentioned at the time of booking.
  • For Id proof, tourists can make use of the voter ID card, driving license, Aadhaar card and the passport. But the details must be given for the original Id proof.
  • If any incorrect information is provided by the tourists, then that booking will be treated as invalid and the money will also not return to the tourists.
  • If the touristsbelong to foreign nationality, then original details of that touristsis required. Foreign tourists must carry the same Id proof at the time of safari ride, which they have used at the time of the booking.
  • Six tourists can accommodate in a single E-permit in order to explore the jungle of Pench.
  • Each trip of Jeep Safari cost Rs 8000. Each trip of Jeep Safari can accommodate 6 people. If the Jeep Safari is done by foreign tourists, then Rs 1000 more is to be paid by the tourists for Pench Jungle Safari Ride only for Sillari gates and Khusapur gates.
  • Once the online safari booking of Pench is made by the tourists, then no addition no deletionis permitted without the concerned authority of forest department. Tourists will get the entire details about the pench jungle safari rideon online about the safaris, timings, about the gate numbers and about the entire dos and don’ts. it is compulsory for every tourist to follow the entire rules and regulations guided by the Government of Maharashtra. Tourists have to pay 100% amount of the safari ride at the time of booking their online safari ride. Important Rules- Followed by the Tourists, During Their Safari Ride:
  • Routes for the Safari ride is fixed within the jungle of the Pench National Park and the designated route for the safari ride can’t be changed in any circumstances, even with the request of the tourists too.
  • It is advisable for the tourists, not to carry any radio, transistor or recorder. Even blowing of horn is strictly prohibited within the national park. Safari guide is the only supreme authority during the safari ride.
  • Tourists are advised to remain in discipline in order to enjoy safari ride successfully. There are certain rules for the safari riders and that should be implemented strictly. Rules are displayed on the notice board, brochures are given to the tourists and finally the guide also inform the tourists about the rules and regulations of the forest authority. Tourists must have a valid permit before exploring the jungle of Pench National Park. It is essential for every tourist to carry a valid permit except the children below 5 years. Entire document carried by the tourists must be original. The speed limit of the safari vehicle is limited to 20 km/hr.
  • October to June are the best months to explore the Pench National Park. Park remains closed in the monsoon season and it gets opened for the tourists from 16th of October till 30th June. Though the winter months are colder in Pench but the temptation to explore Pench is so high that the tourists in great number visit this place in winter. In winter months, tourists have to carry sufficient woollen cloths in order to avid any type of inconvenience.
  • The forest authority of Maharashtra government has the right to change the schedule of safari ride, especially in some unforeseen circumstances. If there is some unforeseen circumstances like weather, flood, fire, pandemic etc, then in these cases, there might be some changes in the schedule and tourists are requested to support the authority in such circumstances. The decision of the forest department is full and final in some unfavourable conditions.
  • None of the tourists are allowed to get down from the vehicle during pench safari excursion.
